In June, Amal and husband, George Clooney, will welcome twins – a boy and a girl.

The pair has confirmed that they are going through a deluge of emotions as first-time parents.

They are excited, happy, and of course, a bit scared to face all that parenthood entails.

This week, a close source to the powerful attorney spoke to the media and explained that they are a bit worried that Mrs. Clooney is not gaining any weight during her pregnancy.

The spy said they can not understand why the humanitarian, who is in her sixth month, is still very thin and even frail.

The person said the Hollywood star is afraid to talk to his wife about the matter because he does not want to infuriate her.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, MD, Cardiology, famous for appearing on the television series called The Dr. Oz Show, explained how much weight a woman in her second trimester should gain.

The health expert said: “Assuming you are at a healthy body weight before your pregnancy, you should steadily gain 5-7 pounds in the first trimester, 18-22 in the second trimester and 12-15 in the third, for a total of 35-44 pounds gained.”

Recently, Clooney sat down with French film journalist Laurent Weil on Rencontres de Cinema and talked how happy he is to become a father.

He shared: “It is going to be an adventure. We have sort of embraced it all with arms wide open.”

Mr. Clooney was asked, how does he feel to be an older father?

The famous actor, who will be 56 by the time the twins are born, said he had been inspired by 89-year-old French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, who welcomed a child aged 70.

The Oscar-winner shared: “So, I am feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [the twins arrive].”

It is believed that the Clooney twins will have standard names like Carol and Micheal.
