The love between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton is so real that they might end up adopting a child together.
Last week, a source close to the “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak” singer said that although she loves her three boys – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo – she feels ready to grow her family and raise a baby with her boyfriend, Shelton.
During her 13 years of marriage to rocker Gavin Rossdale, she longed for a little girl.
However, there is one slight problem with the diva’s dream, the lead vocalist of the band No Doubt is not sure that Shelton is ready for such a significant step in their relationship.
The Voice coach is hoping to have a tête–à–tête with the country star and convince him to start a family with her.
An insider close to Stefani explained: “She is going to have a private, romantic dinner with just the two of them, with candles and flowers, and she is going to present the entire adoption scenario to him.”
The spy went on to reveal that Stefani has yet to share her baby dreams with her sons. She does not want to get their hopes up, the source confessed.
She is apparently waiting for Shelton’s answer to talk to her children.
It is not known if she will move ahead with the adoption process if her partner disapproves of it.
The “Used to Love You” artist is allegedly making wedding plans with her cowboy whom she has been dating since November 2015.
A few days ago, it was rumored that the lovers fought over the fact that Shelton was caught making a large purchase of alcohol.

However, it seems that they have kissed and made up because Thursday night, Stefani broke Twitter by trolling Shelton with a mullet photo.
Stefani updated her profile photo to a pic of a young Shelton with a mullet, bangs, and sideburns.
